Terms of Service — PipelineHQ

Effective date: 1 August 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PipelineHQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms form a binding agreement between you (the Organisation and its Users) and Multitech Solutions ("we", "us", "PipelineHQ").

2. Description of service

PipelineHQ is a cloud-based CRM and sales pipeline management tool. We provide software-as-a-service (SaaS) to Organisations for the purpose of managing sales opportunities, customer accounts, and team activities.

3. Accounts and access

Each Organisation is responsible for maintaining the security of its account credentials
You must not share login credentials between multiple individuals — each user must have their own account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Organisation's account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PipelineHQ to:

Store data you do not have a lawful right to process
Upload documents containing Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, financial account numbers, biometric data, or other sensitive personal data as defined under DPDP
Violate any applicable law, including India's DPDP Act 2023
Attempt to access another Organisation's data
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the software

5. Your data and DPDP obligations

You are the Data Fiduciary for your contacts' data.

When you store personal data of your business contacts (names, emails, phone numbers) in PipelineHQ, you are acting as a Data Fiduciary under India's DPDP Act 2023. This means:

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store and process your contacts' personal data
You are responsible for providing appropriate notice to your contacts about how their data is used
You must honour erasure and access requests from your contacts in a timely manner
You must not store sensitive personal data (Aadhaar, PAN, financial data, health data) in PipelineHQ's contact fields or documents

Multitech Solutions acts as your Data Processor for this data and will process it only as instructed by your use of the platform.

6. Data processor agreement

By using PipelineHQ, you appoint Multitech Solutions as a Data Processor for the personal data of your contacts stored in the platform. We commit to:

Processing data only for the purposes of providing the PipelineHQ service
Implementing reasonable security measures (as described in our Privacy Policy)
Notifying you of any personal data breach affecting your Organisation's data within 72 hours of becoming aware
Deleting or returning your data within 90 days of account closure upon request
Not sharing your data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy

7. Intellectual property

PipelineHQ, its code, design, and all content created by Multitech Solutions remain the intellectual property of Multitech Solutions. Your Organisation's data remains your property.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multitech Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of PipelineHQ. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by your Organisation in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PipelineHQ if you breach these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days and then deleted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, India.
